Established in 1987, This lodge is owned by Matt Hall who has extensive knowledge and many years experience in the hunting industry. Situated near the scenic West Coast of the central North Island of New Zealand, this privately hosted hunting area holds some of New Zealand's top trophy animals. Gold medal opportunities are available for : Red Stag, Wapiti, Sambar, Rusa, Fallow, Sika, Wild Boar, Ram & Goat. Hunting in the South Island amongst breath taking Southern Alps is also available for Tahr & Chamois. On arrival into Hamilton airport (a 20min flight from Auckland International) you will be picked up in a luxury 4 wheel drive vehicle and driven through New Zealand's beautiful countryside to "Mungunui Hunting Lodge", which overlooks the West Coast and boasts endless mountainous views of virgin native bush. Deer and other animals can also be seen from the Lodge. The Lodge offers excellent accommodation with spacious comfortable rooms, all with own ensuites. In-house cuisine and fine New Zealand wines are served in a relaxed family environment. Non hunters are most welcome. Renowned sightseeing is close by - Rotorua, Taupo and Waitomo Caves.
